im 16 and for the past year ive been trying to figure out if im bi. i havent had relationships with either sex. last year my les friend told me she used to like me the year before that. she has a gf now for a year..i think she told me when she already had a gf probly to clear her conscience or somethn..but anway i havent figured out if i like her. when i see her it seems like i act diferent, almost kind of to make her like me but i dont do it on purpose... i think about how it would be like to be with a girl and kind of want to. but i know i want to be with a guy in the future for a life thing. like marry a guy. not a woman.
another thing is one of my friends and i jokingly hold hands for a few seconds. but its all a joke. she has a bf. but sometimes when she comes from behind me and not knowing, she holds my hand, i get a tingling nervous feeling on the bottom of my stomach, below the belly button.
anyone have any idea what this means?
do you think im bi?

I don't want to influence you with what I think, especially since I don't have much experience in that realm, but....
Is there anyone that you feel safe and comfortable with that you can talk to without them being judgemental?
Also, I don't know where you live, but alot of colleges and universities have Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender culture centers on campus that would be more than happy to talk to you and answer any questions, even if it's through e-mail correspondance, they would be able to talk to you about places in you hometown area that could maybe help.

I'm not going to say you're too young. I've been 50/50 all my life; I knew when I was 16.
I can't judge for you, but life happens, and it sounds like you can enjoy experiences with either gender. That tingling says a lot!
Don't rush to label yourself. Just be open to love, whatever package it may come in.

oooooooh ! Well the whole tingly thing is just a confirmation. Those are feeling you should have for just guys if you were str8ght. It seems that you have feeling for both boys and girls...Even though your friend liked you, you would have to have an attraction toward her... This other girl you might find attractive "the one with the boyfriend". Have you ever had these feeling towards guys?

I think it's very common for young people to have feelings for both sexes, many have an encounter with the same sex in the teen years, it's too soon to tell if you are bisexual.

Think of the purpose of relationships. They will ultimately reach the point of procreation. Even though you may or may not feel a certain way think that the pupose it to procreate. You can't procreate with the same sex.

not really just a teenager...
at your age you could get exited over anything so dont take it too heart. by the way i think your reaction to your les friend has more to do with you not liking to share her and even more to do with you testing the limits of your sexuality.
