I would like to pair holiday movies with a beach towel and tropical Santa ornaments. I need appropriate movies for 2 girls (ages 11 and 6), and a boy (age 8).

That's a tough one! It's not holiday-related, but "Summer Rental", w/John Candy, is pretty funny (there's a little kid in it). "Captain Ron" is really great! There is, of course, "The Santa Clause" (I and II), Look Who's Talking Now (W/Kirstie Allie & John Travolta- the dogs talk and part of it takes place at Christmas). My kid always loved those old "Clay-mation" movies, like "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and several others like it.

If you like Will Farrell, there's always "Elf", and "Jingle All the Way" (w/Arnold, Sinbad and the late Phil Hartman), is VERY funny!

My personal fave is "A Christmas Story", based on the book by Jean Shepherd. They show it on TNT every Christmas for 24 hrs.! It's great because it's hilarious and touching and both adults & kids can enjoy it.

Someone on another question mentioned two greats I forgot: "The Nightmare Before Christmas" (maybe scary for your 6-year-old?) and "Christmas Vacation", w/Chevy Chase...a true classic!

Hmmmm I honestly can't think of any summery/beach holiday movie.

But here are a few of my favorite age-appropriate beach movies:

Gidget starring Sandra Dee
Aquamarine
Beach Blanket Bingo starring Annette Funicello & Franky Avalon

Also, check out Breezy Beach Wear. They have an adorable kids travel charm bracelet & necklace set for little ones and surf necklaces for boys and guys.

i'm 14, and that i went to an 80's themed party. It replaced into cool because all of us had to gown like people from the 80's (Like band member and stuuf like that.), and we honestly regarded extremely cool. I dressed like Debbie Harry from Blondie. The party had a DJ and we danced and sang to 80's songs. i did not recognize how interesting it would want to be at the starting up, besides the undeniable fact that it replaced into tremendous.
