Or do you just pay one fee to cover the whole book? My book has about 50 individual titles in it.

Once you have written down or hit "save" on your computer while writing (an article, book or poem) you automatically have copyright as a result of the Copy write Term Extension Act of 1998. You own all rights to work you create during or after 1978 for your lifetime plus 70 years, until you choose to sell all or part of the copyright for the work. Ideas or facts that are expressed in your work cannot be copyrighted. Just your unique combination of words (how you wrote something).

9 times out of ten it is by how many copies you would like to have
i write poetry to
i could give you the link if you want just email me
both links will publish your writing
oh yeah and if you get 500 copies from poetry.com or more you get a special glossy cover

BUT MY BIGGEST ADVICE IS FOR YOU TO SEND IN SOME CRAPPY POETRY TO THE COMPANY TO SEE IF IT MIGHT BE A SCAM
