Well, a blood test is taking at the hospital or in a lab. I will tell you how to actually do one if that is the question since everyone is just telling you it is done by a blood test. Samples are taken from your arm. Then you drop a drop of blood on a film and mix it with an antigen of the different groups, A B O. Depending on which ones react with your blood it will be your blood group, so if you drop a drop of antigen for A for example ontop of your blood and it reacts like a fizz or bubbling, and then you do it for all of them. Which ever one it reacts with is your blood type. If it reacts with A alone then your A, if its B then your B if its both A and B then your AB, and then if its O then your O. There is also another test which is called the RH test, and that'll tell you where your + or -, its the same idea, so if you get a reaction with the + antigen your + if not then your -, hope that helps.

The best way is to go give blood at your local blood bank, you get to help someone, you get to find out and get a card on your blood type, you get coupons for free stuff that's pretty cool, after you give blood, their is all sorts of great food and drink just waiting for you.
Everybody wins.
Good luck!

You have a blood test taken so you can be typed and cross-matched. Have the results listed in your medical files in the event of emergencies. You can also carry a card in your wallet with the information.
