My daughter is doing a report on vertabrates. she has to do one on a mammal, reptile, ect.
She watches Zaboomafoo on PBS and she saw this animal (mammal) that had long ears and hair like a rabbit, about the same size as one also, and had a tail almost like a kangaroo. This is what she wants to do her mammal report on and I don't know the name of it. Please help!

It's not the wallaby. I asked my daughter the same thing and showed her a picture and she said no, thats not it.

and it's not a lemur. Zaboo is the lemur

well, i looked at the whole site and i have no idea what you are talking about. all i see is a Lemur, Elephant, Octopus, Penguin, Panda, Tiger, Bear, and a Lizard named Slimantha.

It is called a BILBY -

They actually promote the Easter Bilby as well as the Easter Bunny in Australia because rabbits are a bad environmental pest and cause massive erosion problems

Sounds like it might be an aardvark. Try looking up aardvark in a n encyclopedia and see if you can find a picture.

Wallabee they are about that size. Do a web search and type in Wallabee pics to make sure that is what she was asking about.
