Or, if you were a waiter/waitress, what was your worst guest experience?

If you don't have a worst....or think your "best" is a better story, then please share that!

My wife and I went to a sunshine cafe. I had a contry fried steak. Usually, they can't mess up deep fried foods.
She had a bowl thing... you know, scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage gravey, with shreeded cheeses on top. Well, hers came out five minutes later than mine. It had what looked like little bugs flying around the top, but upon further inspections was wiggeling maggots. We couldn't get anyone's attention at first, so then I had to raise my voice louder than I had originally intended. We were sitting at the counter, and saw the waitress take it too the kitchen, and put it back in the window. Then, it came out about two minutes later.....they had just scooped off the cheese topping, and tried to put on a new layer of cheese. This was way too disgusting, and we have never been back to a Sunshine Cafe.

I was my own worst experience. I was a budding young waitress and was being taught how to properly serve over the right shoulder of the customer. Being very professional, I took the plate with turkey and mashed potatoes and gravy and began to serve over the right shoulder. The man turned his head and stuck his nose right in the mashed potatoes. I had no idea what to do or what to say but it was my worst event in a restaurant.

My worst restaurant experience was when I had a nice stir fry at a local pub and when I got home I had a massive allergic reaction and my airways constricted and I couldn't breathe! I thought I was going to die. It was the only time that has ever happened to me and I still don't know why.

My worst story of being a waitress was when I had a tray of 8 glasses of fizzy drink and I was standing at the corner of the table, I took one off the tray and the rest slid off the tray and down the legs and in the laps of the two people of either side of me.

Oh, as a waiter, I have had several guest experiences that could be considered really bad.

But, overall, I despise waiting on those who insist on being boorish and rude just because they can from the moment they walk in the door. I've never jacked up anyone's food or drink before, but if anything would give me a valid reason for doing so, they would be it!

Gosh! It was just recently at a local Buffalo Wild Wings. I know the place was packed, but they took about 20 mins (not lying) to ask us what we wanted to drink. We placed our order, which didn't come by until 50 mins later. I took us almost 2 hrs from ordering the drinks (Diet Coke and Dr. Pepper) and leave the restaurant (we only ordered a dozen wings.) It was one of the most unpleasant, but the most recent one.

Probably the time that the supervisor was delivering drink refills to our table and spilled one all over our food, the table, me, and my expensive purse that I had just received as a gift.

The good part of it was free food and the purse didn't end up ruined because of a nice guy at the mall who cleaned it for free.
