There are a number of possibilities. Some nightmares can be caused by certain drugs or medications, or by rapid withdrawal from them, or by physical conditions such as illness and fever. Many people experience nightmares after they have suffered a traumatic event, such as surgery, the loss of a loved one, an assault or a severe accident. The nightmares of combat veterans fall into this category. The content of these nightmares is typically directly related to the traumatic event and the nightmares often occur over and over. Other people experience nightmares when they are undergoing stress in their waking lives, such as difficulty or change on the job or with a loved one, moving, pregnancy, financial concerns, etc. Finally, some people experience frequent nightmares that seem unrelated to their waking lives. These people tend to be more creative, sensitive, trusting and emotional than average.

I am not going to give you a big lecture of what it means. Let me get down to the summary.

Dream of killing could symbolize some anger, or resentment in reality. Perhaps a little argument would cause that dream as well.

Get rid of the bodies = give up

In your case, he may be stressed out and getting rid of your bodies symbolize lack of courage to face responsibilities. Yes, he may never do that in reality, but his dream shows his willingness to give up. Killing you is just a way to leave responsibilities behind. Perhaps, he didn't mean or show it in reality, but if he is stressed out or feel like burden being a head of household, it could be why he vent this dream out in a negative way

What was he watching on TV? Did you guys have a fight?
Sometimes what you see and then what you feel can get all jumbled up into a dream that doesn't make a lot of sense.
Does he watch CSI, Dexter, Criminal Minds, anything like these?
I f so, he could be bringing TV into his sleep.

i personally believe dreams are warnings, not that your husband is going to kill you but it is warning him of something.. 3 weeks ago i had a dream that i had a pink snake and after looking at it i realized it was a poisonous snake so i took the snake to a man and he said that even though it is poisonous when it bites me it won't kill me, it will make me very sick but i will not die.. sooo 3 days later i found a lump in my breast, my doctor called it a ropey mass, the pink for breast cancer, the snake for the rope shaped mass. so not all dreams will come true but they do mean something. talk to your husband find out what could be bothering him..

There are a million different theories about dreams and what they mean. One of the most common is that they often mean the exact opposite of what they appear to be about.

maybe there is something he is keeping from the two of you, and he's trying to "bury" his secret. That's my guess.
