as good as if not better, i think!

Jordan was the greatest player of his time, and Wade may be of his. However Wade will never have the impact that MJ had on the game. He was revered by his teammates, and struck awe into people that played against him. Also he became a cult symbol with "If I could be like Mike" I think Wade could be a better basketball player stat wise but that is it. Also I don't think Wade will ever have as many NBA Championships (you also have to have a great team around you to make you better).

I believe that it would do no justice to compare both players as they have different styles of playing the game of basketball as they are from different generations.

But comparing their achievements at the same point in their respective careers, by their fourth season, Jordan had the Rookie of the Year Award, a record 63 points in the Boston Garden, Slam Dunk title, and All-star game MVP. While Wade has a Skills championship trophy as well as an NBA championship.

Hope this helps.

Well since there is no possible way to know this i would say no. The only thing u can go by is stats, and those can be wrong also. Jordan may have played aginst better defenders or Wade may have. Its just like the question is Kobe or Jordan better??? You will never know and it all is personal opinions. Why people post these question i have no clue, Think what u want to think and stand by it!!! As i do for Kobe, the best NBA Player ever!!

no way jordan is jordan there will never ever be anyone better

dwayne wade will be a great player though he's amazing to watch, does so many things he will have a great career along with lebron, carmello, chris paul, dwight howard and many other players in the league.

People should stop looking for the next jordan, and just watch the next generation of players develop into greats and future hall of famers they all have there own identity

I can't even believe you would ask that. There will NEVER be another Jordan.
The league is too competitive now.
Too many players (Wade included) idolized Jordan and modelled their games after him.
Jordan changed the game forever...

Well I have to say Jordan is Definately the best! I guess you never know though, I mean after all Jordan didn't start off that great. He got cut in his freshmen highschool year. I think it is pretty unlikely that he will be as good as Jordan.

No one is going to be better than MJ23 but the closest there is is LeBron. He is the best all around player (like MJ), has similar stats to MJ, and he's younger than 70% of the rookies!

P.S. D. Wade's first name is spelled Dwyane!

not a chance... let's remember something: mj came into the league with the abillity to shoot the ball (and do it in the clutch). dwayne is an amazing player but he had a horrible jumper his first years in the league and it's still something he's improving.

No way no how. There will never be an all-around player as good as MJ.
