Kate Mulgrew, also played in the movie Remo Williams way back in the early 80's. More recently she was Captain Catharine Janeway of the US Federation Ship Voyager.
After her stint on Star Trek she went back to theater, where she had a one-woman show playing Katharine Hepburn. I never saw it but I was told it was a great depiction of a glamorous and elegant lady. I did hear some sound clips from the radio ads, and she had the voice and the accent down pat.
I liked her fine. I just wish I had seen the Hepburn bit.

Kate Mulgrew is an Irish/American actress who has done many soap operas from Ryan's Hope to Murder she wrote. she has done lots of movies and is currently starring in Orange is the new black. but the role that everyone notably knows her for was that of Captain Janeway of the federation starship USS Voyager.

Wasn't she on the soap opera Ryan's Hope and Star Trek Voyager. She was good on Voyager.

Captain Janeway from Voyager. I think she did a good job, though I'll admit, I hadn't heard of her before then.
