Ps3 where can i get it and at what price?

Where can you get the new Ps3. I would like to get it foa a friend for Christmas.

All I can say is good luck. Sony is only releasing 400,000 in the US right now and they are in HIGH demand. Gamestop took preorders and doesn't even have enough to fill those demands.

If you want one, I recommend getting to the store (best buy, whatever) a minimum of 12 hours in advance and waiting in line. I know some stores have had lines going since last week. Most stores will only get a few units in stock.

The price for the "best" one is $599.

Nintendo, on the other hand, is releasing the Wii for $250 with over 4 million units hitting the States. They will also be launching with almost 40 titles in the next few months...you may want to check that out. I know the PS3 is mostly launching with sports titles.

For Christmas? Your best luck is for the next time they restock, but I think that could be January. I can't remember what I read. But if your still going to try. Then you should stake out stores like Gamestop, EB Games, Best Buy, Circuit City, ToysRus, WalMart, and I think I even heard Target talking about it. I don't think you can reserve one this late so your probably kind of screwed for awhile.

Okay, here's the deal...you probably won't get one if you wait till Christmas.

You could probably buy one off of Ebay or some place online, but not in the stores.

By the way...it costs $500 for the simple hard drive, and $600 for the better hard drive and the controler and Wi-Fi and Ethernet connection (for online play).
