im wondering whats the name of the dance in the movie" Take the Lead"? The part when antonio bandaras dances with the black dressed lady to persuade the students...

is it Tango or Cha Cha or ????????

and i cant find the exact same music that was played in that dance. Can someone just tell me the title of that music. i know in fact its not in the Soundtracks of "Take the Lead". Help~!!!!


and is there any way i could get the same exact dance moves(same routine) that was played in there? other than the movie...the movie doesn't show all the moves. Help~!!!!

its the argentine tango, and i think the song is similar to santa maria by gotan project. if not its still a really good song to use for the tango. and as for the steps i think the best thing to do is rewinding it over and over and using slow mo. try to make up your own steps on the parts they couldnt show. be creative.

Take the movie to your dance teacher and say you want the same choreography. Any ballroom teacher should be able to write it down for you and fill in the gaps with some other steps that fit into the routine.
