A modest one is nice.

Muscular, flat stomachs say "I'm a shallow weenie with a dreadful set of priorities."

Evidence of a moderate amount of beer consumption says "I enjoy life and am fun to be with."

(Really. Just lean your head over to a guy's gut, and you'll hear it.)

I concur with the 'teddy bear' and 'security' comments. I don't want a guy who's smaller than me in any way.

This is not 'fat,' though, which -- well, no thanks. Most Santas are a bit too far gone, for example.

Define "belly"--when a man looks prengnat, no. When a man gains sympathy with his pregnant wife, it's cute!

Beer bellies really make me sad.

I honestly go for personalities so bellies don't really bother me. However there are limits, I'd have to say no to Rik Waller, no matter how nice/funny/smart he was.
