I do actually, but I've only learned recently that this has to come from yourself. My dad helps to validate me a lot too though and I respect his opinion so much, so that is validating.

No, and I don't need to feel validated because I have learned that doing so is to set myself up for disappointment -- and I don't need that in my life.
