whats a good idea for christmas party !!!?

I want to threw a christmas party at my house with adults only and exchange gift's dose any one have any idea's on what to serve how to exchange gift's etc.. just give me some really cool idea's pls i really need a theme to pls help going to have the party on

have everyone bring a gift and just put Lady or Gentlemen on the tag. have food of course as this is primary importance and liquid refreshment. if liqueur is served have cokes or non alcoholic drinks also as some may not want alcoholic drinks then have a picture cut in two pieces one half for a lady the other half for a gentlemen when the two haves are found these two would be partners for a scavenger hunt.

I would have everyone bring an ornament and have them placed in a large stocking and you can have each couple pick one ornament to go on there tree
You could also have a contest where you have everyone make something and at the end you could have a vote on who made the best dessert or appitizer. Everyone can write it on a scrap peice of paper and you can have them place it in a stocking and then u can have one of the men tally up the votes whoever wins gets the christmas present

I like "white elephant" present exchanges. That is wherein all people will get a comic story present. Something humorous, like false puppy doo, or a rubber bird, or a foolish hat, or something. Everyone wraps there present, without a title tag. Then folks decide on a random present. Every time any one opens a present, they may be able to both preserve it, or scouse borrow a present from any one who already opened one.
