Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder; more specifically, it is an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive, distressing, intrusive thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.

Fixation in human psychology refers to the state where an individual becomes obsessed with an attachment to another human, animal or inanimate object. A Freudian belief that, if during one of the psychosexual stages of development, a person did not receive appropriate gratification during a specific stage, or that a specific stage left a particularly strong impression, that person's personality would reflect that particular stage throughout their adult life. Fixation to intangibles (i.e., ideas, ideologies etc.) can also occur.

Dude, you do not have OCD. People who have Obsessive-compulsive Disorder SUFFER. The media has portrayed it like some light, fuzzy little quirk where people wash their hands a lot and rearrange things - no. It's much worse than that. If you aren't going through absolute HELL, it isn't OCD. What you have is called PUBERTY.

ocd is a disorder where a person has obsessions (like the death of a family member or fear of germs) and so they develop compulsions to try to make these thoughts go away. instead of making them go away, though, it usually makes them worse. i don't think you have ocd, but the best therapy is exposure therapy. expose yourself to the situation, and TALK TO HER, or give up if you feel like she doesn't like you. my advice would be to just start facing the situation rather than just thinking about it. TAKE ACTION!!!
