At the most basic level, the crisis in Darfur could be described as a tragic clash between the government and the people. The Janjaweed, and the Sudanese armed forces, are killing MUSLIMS (most of the residents of Darfur are in fact Muslims).

Muslims have been doing this for thousands of years in northern africa. Kill, convert, kill convert. That or they put the africans into slavery.

Usually the muslim malitias kill each man who is married. They rape his wife, and they convert his children to islam. The woman then verbally converts to stay alive, or she is killed. Her child is then converte or it is killed.
