Well the controversial sections surely. So this one, the political ones and of course the infamous R&S section. All you really have to do is a) say you're doing a simple poll and most will simply give their info for 2 points OR b) post something insulting or accusing someone else that uses that forum and you'll sure to get answers, but not all good ones (remember to be sensible though, and not really mean to people). Also the Polls & Surveys get a lot of users.

I find that if you want to ask something like about a country (EG: Korea), its not so good to go to the Korean section (which is under travel I think) because although it would fit best there, not so many people go there as compared to the amount of people who go to this exact group which does actually deal with Cultures & Groups.

i think that yahoo answers have made a good word filter to make some good suggestions for the best category for your question.
to have the greatest response... just write words on the tag like: a question for Christians, or try to humiliate women........lol

I reckon that would depend entirely on the nature of your question - polls and surveys category gets heaps. Also the time of posting your questions has an influence.
