If you & BF don't gamble, Vegas would be a good place to live.
If you or BF gamble, your life will be miserable until the end, since visiting Vegas and living in Vegas is totally different situation.(One day you can win the money, but will lose another day anyway...)
There are many good companies relating IT. Let your BF apply to the company like IGT before you move. You will have more job offers in Vegas than Denver.
Las Vegas is one of the fatest growing city in US and the size itself is getting larger & larger. New homes are available in any new area and the cost is still reasonable.

Yes!! You would love it!! I grew up in Denver and moved to Vegas and it was the best time of my life. You have to be aware of the fact that it is really hard to not fall into the Vegas lifestyle since it is a 24 hr town but if you want to get away from the cold and snow and if you are not going to mind the HOT weather there are alot of fun people and new experiences to be had.Good luck!

I wouldnt move from Colorado to anywhere! But since you bring up Vegas I must ward against it even stronger, with the scariest, oooooooo, beware for the path you take leads to certain destruction voice. I have a "friend" moving to Vegas in January, and though I wish him to be as far from me as possible, I wouldnt wish his presence on Hitler! Being in the same city as him is a terrible fate indeed! I wish he would fall off a cliff into prison.

No way. Vegas sounds like fune but I won't even go there. Nevada is America's largest dumping ground for not just nuclear waste but any kind of waste going. The Guv thinks the desert is safe, nobody lives there and nobody will notice.

If I had a way to earn a living and an affordable, decent place to live in Colorado I would never leave. Why would you trade biking, hiking, fishing, skiing, Red Rocks and mountains for a desert with too much heat, too little water, and too many tourists?

I wish people would quit moving from there to here. (I'm in CO too.) There are so many people here now! I want to move to the mtns. I can't imagine going to Vegas from here. But if you think you would enjoy life out there, go for it.
