OK whats faster 4-4-4-10 or 5-5-5-12 ?

I've read all the stickies and guides and I'm still confused.

It is usually a matter of balance. The smaller the number the better/faster. There is a trade off though. If you can afford more ram at a higher rate, your PC may perform better with the extra ram. Just so you keep that in mind.This is just for under 1gig of ram. Anything over that get the lowest one you can afford.

Hi The lower the numbers the fewer the clock cycles, so all things being equal and stable, use the lowest number that works.
