We'll hold your head underwater, and if you puke, you MIGHT be seasick. But we cannot be too certain, so we'll keep it underwater for awhile longer. If you eventually stop puking, then you are NOT seasick. Then you will know. Correction: Then WE will know!

Do you normally get travel sickness on buses, cars or coaches. I know sitting at the back of buses and coaches for long periods of time has some sickness effects to some people.
But of course, you won't know til you're there. You could always go to a local boating centre and sit on a sailing boat. But make sure you are just sitting and not pre-occupied with other things so you can feel the ripple and effect. The reason I say do not occupy yourself is because if you concentrating on a task, your mind doesn't notice the surrounding enviroment. Hence, no travel sickness. I wouldn't recommend reading, since that gets me.

you won't know until you go on a boat, but bring a flask of ginger, lemon juice and honey with water, which helps with nausea, just in case.
