Treatment? Now that was facetious. Try gargling with warm, salty water or a coke. You can get a numbing spray but guess what, it drys out the throat and you have - yep - a sore throat!
Seriously tho, go to the doc. Your sore throat is caused by nasal post drip and he has the goodies to fix you up.

I suspect your sore throat is being caused by sinus drainage-so use some saline drops for that-you can either buy it from Walmart or any drug store or make your own using regular table salt and very warm water. Just a few teaspoons of salt to the water. Gargle several times a day.
Next drink any hot liquid. For extra healing properties, I would suggest hot tea, add some honey, and some lemon.
You can also suck on a lollipop or any other hard candy.

Salt water is wonderful. Make the water as hot as you can stand it and gargle with it. You should do that at least three times a day. Salt is a natural remedy and will help ease the pain, it will not cure the infection. If the sore throat does not leave within a few days from the time it was contracted, you should see your doctor.

To relive a sore throat, it is best to drink hot drinks like Anise, Tilia and any similar natural drinks.

It helps a lot to suck hard candy, like Pectol.

Gargle salt water. this seriously helps with the inflamation.
Lozenges will numb the pain as well.

natural would be gargling with salt water..
Drug strore stuff.. The cloraseptic ( i think that is the name)spray or tablets.. numbs the thoat...
