I'm from the UK but been all over the USA, and I have never come across anybody similar to some of the characters I've seen on the programme.

Jerry's guest are fake!! He gets regular people (who are apparently broke) and he makes up these crazy *** story lines and he pay them to come on his show and act a fool. I live about 45 mins from Chicago and there has been a few people I went to high school with who were on the show acting crazy. Those stories are not real nor are the fights

My boyfriend had neighbors who were on Jerry Springer. It was a lesbian love triangle.
My sister also saw Jerry Springer at an Ohio State game. She didn't even want to meet him.

Jerry Springer has like a casting director and he picks up people off the street and then he pays them to act stupid. The casting director also holds auditions to see who is stupid enough to show up.

They get paid to EXAGERATE their situation, OR completley make it up. $500 was the last rate I heard.
You would like to believe the poor are that screwed up, but in reality it's the rich.

OMG. i was just asking my husband this yesterday.i have to tell you that i think that they are actors.i olny say this because there really is no place in america that is that screwed up. racists would get their @sses kicked, trannies would not be so obvious.( i mean really!) and fat folks just would not put themselves out there like that. they have to be actors.some times i can swear that one actor's lips are moving when someone else is talking. let me tell you the truth...i dont know.

what you are seeing on jerry spinger are not true stories. people are paid to do the show following the story line that is given to them.
