is mario lopez and george lopez family? because on dancing with the stars george is always there for mario. i know both there names are lopez so it may seem kind of dumb to ask. so are they or not?

George Lopez was on the Megan Mullay show and he said no he is not related to Mario..he is just supporting his latino guy...and no i don't think this was a dumb question, i think a lot of people were asking this...

My boyfriend's grandma swears up and down that Mario is George Lopez' son, and she also said she saw him in the audience at Dancing With the Stars a couple weeks back. However, when she said that, like four other family members contradicted her, but she kept right on insisting. So I loked it up on the Internet, and it looks like they're not related after all. Maybe my boyfriend's grandma ust thought she saw George Lopez. Or you know, he may have just been there cheering him on as a friend or something.
