Well, after being on a Greek Island (Cyprus) for 3 months, I should!! So, the answer is YES!

Part of the alphabet (where the word actually comes from)
Can greet in the morning and later in the day (Don't know how to spell it)
and a few other basic words like:
Polis means Town
Chorio means Village
Ghato means Cat (spelling?)
Café means Coffee
Thé means Tea (spelling?)
Nieu means New
Grecco means Cave (I think)
They use Kato and Pano for up town and down town, but I can't remember which one is which.

There must be more! But I'm blank now.
(I also learned a few Hebrew words!)
