I get all the updates about the system all the time...its also in my feed section on my 360 page. Where can i put a ps3 on layaway???? I want one so bad. I am thinking about getting a bank account and save money in it just for the ps3..

On December 15th, SonyStyle will took place in Asia, and there will be enough PS3 on sale that day. it is approximately 450-500 dollar U.S. each.
And PS3 will come out at Novemeber 17th, according to a game fair in Asia, not sure is that trustworthy just yet.
Btw, the PS3 that soon coming out will be in Japanese version, but for the one who are internested is still be a good chance to get an early one.
Personally, the price are unaccurate, because i am using the price for a Japanese PS3 system and convert it in U.S. but it is much cheaper... and i can prove it, a Japanese PSP $168 when it came out but U.S. one is -.- u name it...

I will rather wait for the Second batch. Seriously, after checking the problems the PS2 had and the XBox 360 on the first batches, I will wait for the second batch.
But yeah, I am doing the same thing, save some money and then get next years a PS3 of the second Gen or the second batch.

I stopped Best Buy on Monday, douchebags were already lined up. Real skeety, dirty, craigslist looking people. I was like what the ****? I just stopped by a smaller retailer that will only receive 5-6 of them and no one was waiting. I think I might stop there later tonight and see if anyone is there.

about what i heard is that if you haven't reservd a ps3 by now you might not get it until november of next year. a lot of people are sleeping outside the stores and i wud sugest the same thing for u if u want to get it fast.

strange question- but i suggest you wait till after the new year to get one of these 600.00 buck baby! from working with it- it will probably not make it in the first run. give it a few months so that sony can work out the bugs such as over heating, crashing and non-backwards compatibility.

It's already too late. You can't reserve one and people have already started lining up to get them. They are only shipping 400,000 to the US. Unless you are willing to pay a lot on eBay, you are going to have to wait until next year.
