It has never been opened, it's 6 years old, and the glass
stopper will not budge. Also a bottle of Drachma, same
thing. Please help!

I have tried the warm water, and soapy
warm water -- thanks for the suggestions!
BUT nothing works. Any other ideas?

Put the bottle in a bowl of warm watter, but not hot which could break the glass. The warmth will cause the glass to expand, and you should be able to get the stopper out.
OR
Mix 2 teaspoons of rubbing alcohol, 1 teaspoon glycerine, and 1 teaspoon salt. Pour it over the bottle where the stopper and the neck meet. It will help loosen the stopper.
