I`m trying to get a deeper understandment of it and of myself.

Almost all of them:
1- they were all lonely
2- they were smart enough to understand real, good art
3- they appreciated indirect, yet profound contact; some worshiped there tutors or past philosophers through their writings as they were maturing as philosophers themselves, and in the same way, they also appreciated the works of artists that are just another form of expression. a painting or musical piece instead of a book.
Maybe you should check out what some of them Had to say about music, try the ancient ones( Socrates, Aristotle...)

Screw the fancy smanzies theories man, if i can make one person feel that they are not alone in whatever tough stuff they are going through in life, then i say i have made something worthwhile. Aesthetics is helpful, but it tends to be an end to itself, this neverending quest for knowledge that does little for the human race.
