Ad-aware is a good software, it's free.
Spy-Sweeper (or something like that), is a good program / software.
If you could get ahold of any anti-spyware programs, run them once or twice a day. It helps.
Or, the traditional way.
Start - All Programs - Accessories - System tools - Disk Defragmenter
Disk Defragmenting help unfreeze the disk space.

Spyware can collect many different types of information about a user. go into MY COMPUTER then go into disk C then into PROGRAMS in that folder will have a list of every thing that is installed in your system. i hope you can trust your repairman!!! he could install programs in your system and run them and get info,and run things from another system,and location.
