Say sure and order tea! Asking some one out for coffee is not a literate "we have to drink coffee", it is an offer for further conversation.

Most places that sell coffee, sell other drinks. If you want to go with the person that asked you out for "coffee", then why don't you say yes; but when you get there, just order something else. Later, you can tell the person that asked you out that you don't really drink coffee.

I would say i really do not drink coffee but i will be happy to sit and talk to you while you drink the coffee and i have some green tea.
