I give up I am no longer stressing about this whole thing anymore I am going to put this into God's hands if he wishes for me and my husband to be blessed with another child he will give it to us. and if not then it is just not out time. I am not going to worry about this anymore. I am going to continue to take care of myself because I am just going to go by my gut feeling which is telling me that I am but if by the time that my next period is supposed to start if it doesnt by a week after that then I am going to go and demand to know what is going on. Wish me luck, and keep your fingers crossed for me, I am leaving this in the hands of God now, so I am going to go on about my days as if I am not even late and go about my daily activities and whatever happens happens and that is what I have to deal with.
Do you think it would be wrong if I still took the prenantal vitamins as a just in case so that if I am then I am already on the right track? Thank you and wish me the best

Prenatal vitmains are fine to carry on taking since you should take them for 3 months before conceiving anyway they'll do no harm.

I would definately keep taking the prenatal vitamins. I feel the same way you do. It's almost like what I was telling myself yesterday when I started 4 days early and I really thought I was pregnant too. We've been trying for 14 months now and I get so upset when I start and I feel just the same as you. I just wish it was that easy to quit stressing. I tried this month and still ended up getting all worked up about it. But same as you, I'm leaving this in God's hands now. When it's the right time, it'll happen. I'm crossing my fingers for you and I wish you the best. If you ever need to talk feel free to e-mail or IM me.
Good Luck!

It seems that you are finally on the right track. You should leave it in God's hands. I can understand wanting to have another child, but sometime's just one is all you need. I was an only child and I have a lot of great childhood memories. I had a lot of fun with my parents and I was not a spoiled brat because my parents made sure. Just think all of the time you have devoted to having another baby when you have a precious baby already. God could be planning something great for the child you have now and He wants you and your hubby to have more time for him/her. I also have to say the sex between you two can't be too much fun anymore if your only looking for one outcome. Enjoy the life you have with the family you have now. Enjoy fun time with your hubby again, enjoy hanging with your son/daughter. Once your at peace with that...who knows the stork might just come knocking on your door. Good luck and God bless you all.

We had the same issue. Had a little boy when I was 21. When he was 3 we tried for another... and tried... and tried. With no luck! I though perhaps I had secondary infertility or something, but my doctor said let's run some tests. Turned out I had something called Graves Disease which is a thyroid condition.

Anyway, I went on medication and went into remission. We resumed trying and nothing. I too, finally gave up. I was sick of the heart break each time I took a test. I finally came to terms with the fact it may just be the 3 of us and that would be it. So focused on "US" and let it go. About 2 or 3 months later, after acceptance and letting go I became pregnant with our second son who is now 5, and am currently 36 weeks pregnant with our third... this time it's a girl.

My advice would be to either voice your concerns to your dr. or do as you are doing, be happy with you healthy family and focus on that. I wish you the best of luck! My heart is with you!

I know where you are comming from. It took us 10 years to get pregnant with our first. Then we had 2 more all within 5 years. I had to mentally and physically force myself to let it all go. The stress, depression, everything and realize that when it was time it would happen. We did set a goal. We decided that from the time we "let it go" untill 2 years pass, we would not worry. I ended up getting pregnant just a few months later. If you're really hoping to become pregnant, see a specialist or think about adoption. Adoption is such a wonderful way to fufill your life and the life of a child who's already out there waiting to be loved.

I do wish you the best. Keep taking the vitamins...........it can't hurt. I was told when I was 16 that I would never have kids, I am now 44 with a 2 year old boy. I am still in shock! I am a mom! It takes some getting use to but I did learn a few things.............believe in miracles, never say never, and always remember that life is AMAZING.

I am TTC as well. I lost hope last month when my HPT was negative and I was very angry. I know have the concept that I am going to offer it up to God's hands now. He will allow me to be pregnant and keep the baby if He wants. I lost two little ones to miscarriages this year and I am praying for the ability to carry one to term.

I always take prenatal vitamins--they are good for you anyway. I take the OTC kind and I have been for 2 years now :)

Lots of love, prayers, and hope.

Girl I like your attitude. Now one of the things we can do when we leave our probs. in God's hands is to act as if we are already blessed and so yes, yes, yes - take the vitamins. It will also help to prevent defects if you are indeed pregnant.

Smile, relax and let God!
