how long does your razor last?

my wife got me a gillette mach 3. 9 month`s ago it had 3 blades i have just put the last blade in tonight i shave 4 times a week but these blades dont go blunt or rusty how is this

i only change them because my wife used them on her legs ...it truely is the best a man can get....

One blade usually lasts 4-6 shaves. 9 months on 3 sounds really scary!

My mach 3 is rubbish concerning longevity. I use it because it's comfortable, but 6 good shaves is definitely tops. It also matters how thick your stubble is. The two-blade wilkinson protector is far better in the long-lasting stakes, as is the older gillette two-blade.

i ve been using gillette sensor excell for the last 10 years i shave once a week. 1 double edge blade last a month max sometimes 3 weeks.
