no, there is no possible way to say we are. but there is also no possible way to say we arent. not yet. until technology advances far enough, we will simply have to let our imaginations go wild. I mean, we dont even know whats outside the universe. There has to be something out there right? Whos to say there isnt an all new universe outside ours? There are planets outside earth, there are galaxies outside the milky way, so how can we say there arent more unverses outiside of this one? Its one of those mind boggling Big Questions that take a lot of thought all for no answer. There are no limitations to the human imagination. You can belive whatever you want to. Someone will be proven right some day. But for now, no. I cant honestly say we are the only ones. Alll i can say, is that until there is actual proof, there may as well be trillions of other species of intelligent life out there.
Who knows?

Given how big the cosmologists say the universe is, it seems very unlikely that we are alone.
Whether we will ever meet alien intelligence is doubtfull.
If aliens had the technology to travel between stars they would only travel for cultural reasons. In which case I would assume like our own scientists, they would not want to interfere with the object of study.
Any aliens that came here for mere resources or toe eat us would be technologically retarded, so they would have to come from very nearby. In which case the chance of an intelligent life form from within a distance that such technology can cross, is incredibly low. So we still won't meet them.

Absolutely not. For one, no one knows anything about anything. And two, to pretend you can say we are the only intelligent life in the universe without a doubt is ridiculous. But I'm not too sure anyone is saying that anymore. I think for the most part the majority is open to it.

No. It is ignorant and stupid to say otherwise, at least with absolute certainty anyways. We just can't rule out something as plausible as that so soon. Why doesn't NASA do something of value for a change and actually start researching the possibilities?

.....Out of all the universe, can you honestly show me proof of intelligent life elsewhere?

By the way, I think you meant to say intelligent...not intelagent.

You spelled intelligent incorrectly. Spell check works wonders. We're probably the only "living creatures" who has a spell check that no one implements.

no, there's no way we are. the universe is too huge to even comprehend, we havent even begun to discover 1% of what is out there. there is probably another planet out there just like earth.

If there is then they are probably just like us, and we will never meet. Also if there is do you think god created them, because it doesnt mention anything about other galixy's in the bible. as for martans, they don't exsist, just like unicorns, lepricons, and crab people.
