Yes and if you go to parent teacher night at school the principal will do the same exact thing. Skip the post office, doctor and dentist while you are at it.All are known habitats for homicidal torturers looking for victims.
Stay home. Never go out.
In some countries the police are the arms of a corrupt government and men become cops for the power and wealth they receive in that kind of system. Not in the US. Most cops here are trying to HELP people. This kind of fear mongering is why many women from foreign countries are afraid to report crimes here and scumbags get away.
A really nice cop died here recently. A hero cop who a couple of years ago pulled a family out of a burning building. A decent man who leaves behind a wife and kids because he responded to a call that a woman was in danger from an abusive boyfriend.
Cops save women every day from men who would hurt us. The presence of police deters crime.

um i don't think i've ever heard of that happening.....am i living in some sort of bubble?????? i only trust the poilce that are at the station, not the ones that are out and about.
