Dreams triggered by problems trigger solutions one day later, and again in 6 to 7 days. Most dreams have a 'truth' component, rather than whether they "come true". Dreams are our subconscious problem-solving function which is intended to suggest or inspire waking perceptions of solutions. When you dream, do you know you are dreaming? No, you are "awake" in your dream. So when do your dreams "come true"? When you 'awake', or when the dream is recalled and you realize you were asleep?

It depends what you dream. I sometimes dream solutions to a problem, or I re-enact something bad that happened, or I dream about something coming up that's bothering me. Some of those are true. But if you dream you're going to win a million bucks, that's just a wish.
