i know it's a stupid question. but i was just wondering.............i'm trying to sell stuff on ebay. but do u have to have a credit card or somthing to do that? or is that just for buying stuff?

You dont need a credit card but will have to post a bank account. This is for Ebay to take their funds and costs at a predesignated time. I would recommend a credit card but if you need to do a bank account then open a new account just for ebay. This way if your account is comprimised, you will not be completely out.

Once you register with eBay, they will require a credit card and or your checking account so that after you receive your monies, they can transfer it into something for you although if you do not designate it so, the monies will go into your pay pal account where you can transfer it later.
PS, read the FULL disclaimer from pay pal, and always CYA by getting the extra insurance to cover everything you sell..

You can buy with money order, a check(usually held till clears) unless seller offers other. To sell, you need to have a way for Ebay to collect their fees. A credit card is handy, however there are other venues like pay pal, bid pay etc..
