I know what you are going through and I wish that I had that magical crystal ball but I don't. Sorry I know that when I was pregnant with my second baby I was sick the entire pregnancy from the moment I woke up till the time I went to bed no matter what I ate it came back up. I was extremely tired I think that I had all the symptoms of pregnancy times 10 so I really do feel for you and I wish you the best of luck.

I felt the same way you do now. My friends kept telling me that it should go away once the first trimester was over. Well, it wasn't until my 18th week that I didn't have morning sickness anymore. I was afraid that since every pregnancy is different, I feared that my morning sickness was going to last throughout my pregnancy. I can't tell you when it'll end, but just keep thinking to yourself that this is a good pain and it will pay off once your little one arrives. I know it's hard to do, but don't worry, what you're enduring now is so worth it at the end! Luckily it's starting to subside so let's hope that it goes away really soon!
Congratulations and good luck!

Most commonly, these feeling last throughout your first trimester. Your body is trying to adjust to some very big changes physically and emotionally. I promise....it is worth it! :)
Once your hormones etc. start to stabalize, you should start feeling better. With all of my pregnancies, it lasted the first 12-14 weeks. With this one....Nothin! No morning sickness at all. I have been a little tired..but that is probably just from trying to keep up with 4 kids and a household!
Good luck and Congrats!!

I guess it all depends........every pregnancy is different.I am at 29 weeks and still exhausted and have difficulty breathing because my baby is so high up........... Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. I refer to it almost daily right now and I am due Feb 2, 2007. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck!

My crystal ball says it will DEFINITELY get better when the baby comes. Other than that everyone is different. Hopefully by 13 or 14 weeks it will at least let up a little. Good luck. I have been there.

I had morining sickness up until the day my twins were born. Typically it goes away in just a few more weeks for you (14 or so my doc said)
As for the what to expect when you are expecting book, my doctor took my copy and tossed it in the trash, handed me $20 for the book and said "that book belongs in the trash, all it does is make mom's crazy by putting timelines on things and listing every known complication known to man" she told me to take the $20 and go buy a good dinner, it would benefit me and my baby more than the book. :-)

It's awful isn't it?! I was very sick until 20-some weeks, after that it started to let up, and finally went away. When it does, you won't even care that it happened. I'm sitting here holding my son and I can tell you it was all worth it! I hope it lets up soon and you can enjoy your pregnancy. Just let the housework go-it will still be there later. Worry about taking care of yourself and that baby. Congrats :)

oh gilr i totally understand your desperation to feel better.... but good news your done the first trimester...give it another week or two, and you shouldbe good. Are you taking your vitamins? this pregnancy, i wasnt taking them regularly, and i felt like crap, doc put me on anti depressants......and my sis said, take your vitamins, and in a day i felt a ton better, never did take the anti depressants!!!! that was about 13 weeks! my crytal ball is out of oreder today...which sucks, cause i am trying to figure out if i will go into labor this week or not. Bad time for the ball to fizz out on me!!haha
good luck...it will get better, just a little bit longer.....
