Do you think all parents have a "favorite child" even though they deny it?

Well yes it can be said that most parents do have a favorite child in their mind. But that's only an assumption. Not all parents are the same. So in that case, not all parents have that feeling. But to tell the honest truth, i would probably choose from my children a favorite. It's human nature to play around with the fabrics of life just to ease our lives just a little. In my family, sometimes it's difficult for me to decipher which of us (siblings) is our parents favorites. I don't mean to boast but, i sometimes do believe it's me. Probably the fact that they told me that i was the only planned child. (Shhh... i'm forbidden to tell anyone that :)) But yeah, i kind of don't think it's wrong to have a favorite child. Just do your best to never admit it. :)

Yes! I am a parent and I will admit, I do have a favourite. I just try not to make it obvious in front of them.

I HAVE THREE DAUGHTERS. I LOVE ONE DEARLY BUT FOR DIFFERENT REASONS.
SOMETIMES I HAVE A STRUGGLE SHOWING IT TO MY MIDDLE CHILD AS SHE HAS LEARNING DIFFICULTIES, EMOTIONALLY NEEDY AND JUST BECAME A TEEN. MY OLDEST IS FIXING TO GRADUATE AND THE APRON STRINGS ARE BEING GENTLY REMOVED AND MORE FREEDOM GIVEN. THE YOUNGEST IS VERY CLINGY. IT SOUNDS LIKE I AM COMPLAINING MAYBE, BUT I AM AFRAID TO PRAISE ONE FOR THE FEAR THE OTHERS WILL THINK I FAVOR ONE OVER THE OTHER.

YES ....I was daddys little girl and my sweet and lovable BROTHER was mom's favorite and it was just fine because you knew you were loved 24/7 luv kara

Yes, my mother swears she doesn't but her favorite was always my dads youngest son. He looks just like my dad.

Yeah... and one time... my mom actually admitted that my sister was the favorite.
She did apologize for it though... but, that is something you really never get over.
