When my husband and i got married, we paid our photographer up front. to date, we have nothing from her. she has disappeared. she is no longer in her studio and no longer in her apartment. she has ignored BBB complaints in the past (i just found this out) and i don't think she'll be responsive to the Dept. of Community Affairs complaint either. i want to make this woman suffer like she has made me and my husband. sueing her is not good enough. i want to distroy her, her reputation and her business. i want the word to get out about her so other couples aren't out of their photos too

The best way to go after someone like this is to contact your attorney general's office. They will investigate, and they will pursue her for you. It will not cost you a penny. Not to mention the attorney general is able to also pursue criminal charges if needed.

Sueing is a good start. With the winning court case to back you up, you can "get the message out" without fear of a libel or slander suit in return. But really, failing using violence against her, justice is served by a lawsuit, and there's nothing further you can do morally, other than that.

You have a bit of anger going on and I cannot say I blame you but at best you only have a small claims action that you could use to take her to court. It seems as though she may have skipped out on more than you. If she still has a business address and has not left than you may have a chance of having her served.
