if so what cables and accessories would i need? thanks.

No it wouldn't be advisable as plasma screen can 'ghost' where a contant part of the display like the start button can burn into the screen so when you watch telly a ghost picture of the start button would appear like the old pc monitors thats why they invented screen savers to save the screen

Yes you can use a plasma screen TV as a monitor for your computer, but I would not recommend this. Plasma screen TVs have a limited lifetime. Your best choice for a computer monitor would be an LCD screen TV. In the back of your plasma screen TV. If you see a pin plug, it will look just like the one that comes out of the back of your computer that runs your monitor. You should be able to find that cable at RadioShack it's a standard cable. Not sure it's a good idea. Static images are not a good think on plasma screens as the image will burn in and leave a ghost image. I think that's right... See what others think!
