Just wear what you think looks best on YOU. Like if you have red hair, a green dress would look stunning, or if you have brown hair like me, so with a more natural color. Just go around shopping, and try on every dress you possibly can. What you might think is ugly off, just might be the dress of your dreams. For prom, don't go with a short dress, it's your big night, so look like you just came out of a fairy tale!!! Also don't wear anything that looks slutty. So go out there, and shop!!!!

It depends on what part of the country you live in. Here in OK, around prom time it is a little chilly outside still. It is tradition here to stick with a long length formal dress but that doesn't mean you cant play it up with the top of your dress and choose a more dramatic cut or style. If you live on the west coast I know a lot of girls wear mid to short length summer style dresses sometimes. Check out some styles from the red carpet, a lot of designers make dresses to emulate those of celebrities exactly. It REALLY depends on what styles YOU like, not what everyone else is wearing; this is an important night so you have to feel comfortable AND beautiful. Wear something you feel that you look beautiful in but can still shake your butt in. And dance or you won't have a good time!

i would wear a pink and orange strapless dress knee length and a pink neckeles with orange earings and high pink shoes the pink would be hot pink and put ur hair down and bring a pony just in case it might get hot. coming froma 12 year old though but try it ..

gurl wear the latest stuff and believe me it must be cute and sassy because you would want to be the belle of the ball naw right and chect out some magazines and cataloges.
