I am not talking about the songs that you like. I am asking you what song says the most about you or the way you think.

Who is the Artist, the title of the song, and what it is about the song that explains more about you?

Yet another tough question to ponder...lol...should've just pretended that I didn't see this one and went on my way but a challenge is always good...

32 Flavors by Ani Difranco is the only song I can think of but Im sure I could think of something better if I allowed myself more time on this one...

The reason I even attempt to suggest this one is bc well its kind of like saying theres more to the picture then meets the eye and also about self-discovery if you will. I think that a lot of times people are too quick to write me off as one thing or another and that if they took less time judging and made more time for understanding they'd see that there is more to me then meets the eye...and it also kind of speaks to me bc she kind of says that she wont compromise who she is to meet someone else's standards or expectations and I can really resonate with that thought considering that in way too many instances I have had people try to change who I was...

Ani Difranco - 32 Flavors

squint your eyes and look closer
I'm not between you and your ambition
I am a poster girl with no poster
I am thirty-two flavors and then some
and I'm beyond your peripheral vision
so you might want to turn your head
cause someday you're going to get hungry
and eat most of the words you just said

both my parents taught me about good will
and I have done well by their names
just the kindness I've lavished on strangers
is more than I can explain
still there's many who've turned out their porch lights
just so I would think they were not home
and hid in the dark of their windows
til I'd passed and left them alone

and god help you if you are an ugly girl
course too pretty is also your doom
cause everyone harbors a secret hatred
for the prettiest girl in the room
and god help you if you are a pheonix
and you dare to rise up from the ash
a thousand eyes will smolder with jealousy
while you are just flying back

I'm not trying to give my life meaning
by demeaning you
and I would like to state for the record
I did everything that I could do
I'm not saying that I'm a saint
I just don't want to live that way
no, I will never be a saint
but I will always say

squint your eyes and look closer
I'm not between you and your ambition
I am a poster girl with no poster
I am thirty-two flavors and then some
And I'm beyond your peripheral vision
So you might want to turn your head
Cause someday you might find you're starving
and eating all of the words you said

A Mistake by Fiona Apple

I tend to jump into some things head first, at times knowing that it may be a mistake. Sometimes a mistake is a lot more fun than thinking ahead all of the time.

Wouldn't Want To Be Like You - Alan Parsons Project

I walk my own path. I don't accept help, I don't ask for help, I don't steal, mistreat or lie to people for personal gain. Personal integrity is more important to me than the air I breathe.

"Because of You" by Kelly Clarkson. Because of things that happened in my childhood at the hands of people who should have protected me, I have been more afraid and more protective of myself as an adult.
