I have just bought a new gecko and he has red sore feet and he looks like his claws have been clipped any idea what I can put on it to just sooth them a bit?

Awww..poor little guy!! I guess whoever clipped his claws went too far. Sounds like an infection is setting in. Is it in all four appendages? If so, then I'd be more than a little concerned, because it wouldn't likely be caused by clipping (unless the person used filthy dirty clippers maybe, or maybe he was in a cage that contained something damaging to his feet). If it's just in one or two, you could try a tiny bit of an antibiotic cream (like polysporin). Make sure to put it on a clean and sterile piece of gauze or cottom swab. Rub it on the affected area gently and make sure that it has "soaked" in (so that's why you should only use a little). You don't want him ingesting it somehow as that might be toxic for the little guy. If it gets worse, or it IS in all 4 claws, then you'll have no choice but to take him to the vets unfortunately.
Best of luck with him, I really hope he gets better soon. Geckos are soooo adorable aren't they.

maximum fabrics has a combustion warmth of over 2 hundred ranges, so except your heater is more effective than two times as warm because it meant to be (ensuing in an rather crispy gecko) you received't have a issue with it. That reported, maximum fabrics won't be able to be the right absorbency for your gecko, and it is going to commence smelling very instantly. i might want to propose paper towels or reptile carpet. you may want to even flow with tile out of your community ironmongery save if you're searching for something with a touch extra ornament. by no potential use a free substrate like bark or sand, because the gecko can eat it and grow to be very sick. desire this replaced into effective!

just keep an eye on it. NO medicine. Geckos are one of those creatures mother nature tends to help along. Watch for infection. Keep wounds clean.
