Kelly Monaco, who plays Samantha McCall on General Hopsital was in contract degotiations with them for a new contract. Did they complete that, and will she be staying on the show? If she's staying, for how long?

Yes she has resolved her contract issues and is planning on staying on the show, at least temporarily. One thing she wanted with her contract was "an open exit" which meant she could leave at any time if other opportunities presented themselves. She is set to do something in prime-time and I guess, if it pans out they will either see if she can juggle them both, or allow her to pursue it. She does want to stay on daytime, so hopefully she can handle it all.

i hope she's staying, she's a good character on there, and she deserves a break after her mom Alexis got so mad at her about that little incident with Ric(sp.) and everything she's been through. Sam needs a break!
