As an adult in my forties, I regret that I didn't go to any of my high school functions so, I would tell you to go to your high school bonfire so you have no regrets later. High school is a fun filled time in your life and you should take advantage of your ability to share experiences with your classmates before you go your separate ways once you graduate. I encourage my son to participate in school activities while he has the chance because soon he will be an adult with responsibilities and obligations. Go and have fun!!

yea! a bonfire sounds fun, unless you hate people in your school and rather not associate with them, in which case don't go. I doubt that is the case though, so you should go and have fun! Besides if it's stupid you can always leave. = )
