Amazon sell a CD of the original (1971) soundtrack to Kidnapped. The music score was by Roy Budd and if you use the weblink below, it will take you to the relevant page. It has a listing of all the tracks, so you can check-out which is the one you're interested in. You may recognise the description from this review: 'The soundtrack opens with the grand sweeping orchestral 'Overture' and 'Main Title' setting the scene with a distinctive flavour of both Scotland and swashed buckles. The gentler cue 'David and Catriona' is particularly memorable and reminiscent of the love theme from Soldier Blue. A variation of the main theme returns with flowing strings and tin whistle as the theme for 'Alan Breck', Michael Caine's character. The composer finally succumbs to the bagpipes for 'Edinburgh Castle', but typically even the pipes and drums have a Budd feel and a Budd sound. The harp is used in many places to give a gentle voice-like quality to the theme and no more so than in the cue 'The Highlands and the Lowlands' where it is combined with tin whistle to woo the listener. The closing titles use a poignant variation of the main theme set to words by Jack Fishman and sung to great effect by folk singer Mary Hopkin.' (For All My Days)..

Roy Budd was the composer/conductor for that movie. I'm not sure there was a name for the main theme song though. Try looking up Roy Budd. Best of luck.
