Hi. I am thinking about starting up a fashion magazine for plus sized teen girls but am unsure of the the steps it takes to get there. If anyone has some insight it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. First of all, it seems you've come up with a good idea as I'm not aware of any similar magazines in that sector.
Above all you will need advertising, so it's best to talk with the kind of people you would expect to be advertising in your magazine. Put together a proposal of what you expect to charge, and how many copies you expect to print/sell, etc. Without advertising support (or a lot of money behind you) it's going to be hard to publish it yourself. I think something like 80 per cent of magazines fail within their first year, and only 3 per cent are still going after three years. It will not be easy but it will be fun, I guarantee. If you need any more advice feel free to send me a message. Good luck.
