Yep. I once went bowling with some mutual friends and this guy I had never met before. He acted really quiet and kind of standoffish, but I still tried to strike up a conversation with him. I guess it paid off, because we got married in January and are madly in love! :)

Of course. Some people mistake shy as stuck up. If you have a hard time communicating with people you can look stuck up is what I mean but in reality you are shy. Been there. Done that. Not any more though! WOO HOO I am really out going now.

it either means two things. they're have no ability to have social interactions or they like you or somebody that they're around. i would put my arm around their shoulder and just say, hey i farted. that usually loosens them up.
