As having a great knowledge and interests in animals native to the North American continent I've heard of more Bull Moose attacks, but don't get me wrong when Bull Elk range off into urban environments humans pose a threat to the animal and the animal defends itself. The same goes for any Bull Moose. If you show your scared or you threaten them they may attack, any deer in the related family will act the same way. Thats why hunters take more precautions when trying to successfully bag the big one. I honestly would never want to mess with either of the two large animals. The most dangerous in my opinion would have to be prized to the Bull Moose. But, its your call. Have you been out in the field with these animals? Maybe not. It looks to me as an adrenalin rush, a run for your money. I hope I've helped you.

moose.
You hardly ever see bull elk standing stock-still smack in the middle of the road on a blind bend on a dark wet night.

During mating season no one could pay me enough money to get any where close to either of them. Both are very dangerous during this time.
If you mean at non-mating times fo the year neither is particularily aggressive unless they are provoked. Theya re both more likely to leave than stick around.
If you mean facing off against each other (which is highly unlikely to ever happen) my money is on the Moose since they are bigger

i would have to say the moose, they are a much more curious animal, during the rut, they will come into many towns because of noises, and things that they find interesting, sizewise the moose is somewhat larger, but either could kill a human with little problem, my recomendation would be to avoid both of them in the rut
