Yes - the Americans really did land on the moon! But not all of them, unfortunately...

After the first landing there were a few more, all of which were done by the Americans. Up until that point the Russians had always been ahead in the space race, yet even to this day have never mananged to put a shuttle on the moon.

Through the scientific evidence i believe it's highly improbable to be able to land on the moon but completely impossible the way it was conducted by NASA.

Also, being Pagan, I believe in natures ability and hold both the Sun and Moon in high regard. Human beings being able to land so easily on the moon, regardless of everything that needs to be thought about, to me is like someone saying to a priest that Neil Armstrong himself landed in Heaven and had tea and scones with God.

I just dont think it would be as easy as the landings seem to be, there would have to be a lot more to it.

They say it also explains Area 51 as this is where the moon landing was apparently filmed. Satelite pictures of area 51 also show craters very similar to that found on the moons surface.

Personally, I dont believe it.. but everyone loves a conspiracy theory ^_^

My father has always believed that Americans didn't land on the moon and that it was done in a studio somewhere. He is a proud American, but he just feels that America's ego got in their way because the Russians were also trying to land people on the moon. His argument is that in the popular video that we see, the flag is moving, and there is no gravity on the moon therefore the flag itself would either remain stationary or it would be in an upward motion. Not, waving as if a fan was blowing on it. Plus, it we've been on the moon before, why not go back for further research? There always planning exploratory missions to Mars and stuff, why not the moon? We send satellites there, but no people. Strange???? I guess it's just a matter of faith or not. I love America and am a proud citizen, I support our government, but they have lied about things in the past and the public found out. Who's to say they didn't lie about this one too...

Apollo 11 was the first manned mission to land on the Moon. It was the fifth human spaceflight of the Apollo program, and the third human voyage to the moon. Launched on July 16, 1969, it carried Commander Neil Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin 'Buzz' Aldrin. On July 20, Armstrong and Aldrin became the first humans to land on the Moon, while Collins orbited above.

The mission fulfilled President John F. Kennedy's goal of "landing a man on the moon and returning him safely to the Earth" by the end of the 1960s.

A race was on to put a man on the moon. President Kennedy had challenged the nation. It was the mission of Apollo 11 to land two men on the moon, then return them safely to Earth. It was one of the most historic events. It demonstrated what man can do with effort and ingenuity.

biggest proof of man landing on the moon was that the apollo astronauts placed a reflective plate on the surface of the moon which several institutions bounce lasers off on a regular basis to get accurate reading of the distance to the moon. this couldn't have been done remotely as the technology of robotic space probes wasn't up to that at the time (see the russian venus lander which managed to get a sample of it's own camera lens cap because it landed in the wrong place when they ejected it). every time you see a tv program about the great consipracy theory they never mention this. you can go to for example jodrell bank observatory and see this being done. the consiracy makes a great story, but it's kind of sad that these men all risked their lives for someone to point out that a flag was waving.

I don't think so - the risk was too great and the technology was certainly not ready.

Besides that - there are the suspect films of astronauts from different moon landings, that went to different areas of the moon, but the rocks in the background were exactly the same! (Remember Star Trek where Kirk was always had to climb the sloping rocks to face the aliens in different episodes, on different planets- but they were the same rocks!!).

The classic is the film of the astronauts helmet (on the moon supposedly) where part of one of the cross hatch markings, which were supposed to be engraved on the camera lens, disappear behind the helmet. i.e. they were added to the film afterwards.

Maybe we landed maybe we didn't. It depends on who you talk to. If you talk to me, I say we did.
If you would talk to my dad he would have given you some !!#*** expletives and a 20 minute answer about how the government is a bunch of crooks just out to get your money, and completely miss the question. The best thing you can do is, decide for yourself. An Honorable mention about the waving flag on the moon No wind just starch.

CAPRICORN 1 has a lot to answer for doesn.t it. No one doubted it before that film came out and why should they. The technology of the time made it possible so why do people doubt it was done. |They may as well argue that Magellan never circled the Earth. Perhaps it isn.t really a sphere after all. THE ONLY HOAX IS ON THOSE WHO ARE TAKEN IN BY THE DOUBTERS.

Hoaxed Because JFK made a promise that the USA would have a man on the moon by the end of the decade in 1962! What a shock to find they managed it in 1969!

Yes, we landed on the moon. The flag wasn't "waving" it was fixed with a brace so it would hang straight despite the lack of wind....
