Hello! There is a U-pick strawberry farm in Carlsbad:

Carlsbad Strawberry Company
Located at the corner of Cannon Rd & Paseo del Norte
Open 7 days a week, 9 am-6 pm, when strawberries are in season

There are also U-pick apple orchards in Julian (east of La Jolla), but apple season is over, it ended in maybe mid- to late-October. Next year, around apple season, you can visit:

Calico Ranch
4200 Highway 78
Julian, CA
Open weekends 9 am-5 pm

Country Berry farm in Ramona (east of La Jolla, but not as far east as Julian) also offers U-pick, but they are closed this year due to a bad berry crop. They normally offer U-pick blackberries, boysenberries, pumpkins, strawberries, and tomatoes.

Country Berry Farm
1798 Keyes Rd
Ramona, CA

I'm sorry that most of the fruits aren't in season any more since it's close to winter, but you can definitely visit these places closer to summer or fall. In the meantime, you can buy your produce direct from these local farmstands:
